Volunteers

However Inspirability receives far more invitations to events, and courses than it can support and requires several more volunteers to enable them to develop the programme of events that we have planned. All volunteers are supported and receive the necessary training to enable them to do the work that we would require them to do. This training is usually obtained through Courses run by the Local Voluntary Community Services organisations who are funded to provide such training.

Inspirability also aims to provide a Work In Progress Initiative Team WIPIT for each area of support we offer.

They will consist of up to 4 advisors which will be lead by Volunteers, but supported by Professionals. This way we are providing a multi-faceted, comprehensive level of support to people living with long term conditions in this community. The teams will comprise of 3 or 4 volunteers and 1 or 2 professionals who will provide up-to-date advise and information.

At present there are several vacancies within the WIPIT teams and these can be found on the WIPITS page.

If you would like to become a volunteer or a member of our WIPIT Teams please write to the Secretary
